A Bank With An Ethical Policy

~~~
When considering opening a bank account it is always great to look into what bank accounts are being offered. What is good for one individual may not necessarily be good for another. I normally go for the savings account because it is quick and easy, but the other day I came across something called a current account. This is something I haven’t heard of before so I figured I should look into it a bit more.
It’s an account which is also easy and straightforward with some added benefits, mainly the cash and payment cards. For example, the Visa Debit payment cards allows you, provided you have the cash in your account, to withdraw up to £250 a day from 35,000 LINK cash machines nationwide as well as pay for goods and services in-store whenever you see the Visa sign, plus a guarantee payment of your cheques up to £100.
Then when you consider that the bank actually has a “Ethical Policy” and in 2005 turned away 10 million pounds of business because they conflicted with the banks ethical policy. Quite remarkable.
