Google And Paid To Post Bloggers

For those of you who like myself have been penalized by Google because we have decided to use our blogs to generate some income other than Google Adsense, there is every chance that Google may have blacklisted us and we may never get our PR back. I hope that this is not the case but I am preparing for the worst and have started another two blogs on another domain just in case. So that these blogs do not suffer the same fate as the others I am implementing certain measures that may help to keep Googles wrath at bay.

  • 1. I will not be using any ads or badges that have anything to do with “hire me” or “get paid to post”!
  • 2. I have written my own personalized disclosure policy rather than using generic copy and paste ones.
  • 3. I will not be using any “sponsored by” or “sponsored post” tags at the end of paid post.
  • 4. Instead of a “sponsored” category I will be using another heading so as not to draw attention to it
  • All in all I think that although it isn’t fair that Google should tell us what to do or not to do with our blogs I see no reason why we shouldn’t take precautions to keep the PR we worked so hard for as well as the right to monetize our blogs anyway we see fit.

good advice. I am looking at getting my own domain name, but am just too swamped now to really search it out. hopefully this summer I will have time to look at it more seriously. I will have to keep these tips in mind…

I haven’t got my own domain name yet. I have several blogs that have all been penalized. I agree with you 100%. Google is not right to do this.

I am thinking that I am going to have to break down and start some more blogs. I’m already blogging a lot though. I guess what I should do is cut back on my old blogs and concentrate on getting the new ones going on.

      Thanks for sharing.
