If you about to get engaged and haven’t the time to go shopping for engagement rings, perhaps a great idea would be to go online to see what is available. It’s a lot easier and quicker to go from site to site than it is to go from store to store in the real world, not to mention the hassles of finding a park, fighting the crowds and putting up with pushy salesmen.
Sopping online will at the very least help you to find the design that you like. You can then price it at a regular jeweler and compare it to what you have found online. Who knows how much you can save.

I would say that so long as you know your gal’s ring size, this is a good option. Just be sure to pick reputable websites. The one benefit of choosing a store vs. online is they can offer insurance, free re-sizings, cleanings, etc.
