My kids are pretty well grown up now, ones twenty and the other is sixteen, but I know that they would still love to go to Orlando Florida and not just for the Disney vacations side of it. I know I would love to check that part of it out because I’ve heard so much about it and seen so much of it on TV, but I’ve heard that Orlando has so much more to offer than just heaps of stunning theme parks.
There is the history, shopping for the wife, the night life, wining and dining and even relaxing on the beach. My only problem is trying to fit so much in just one short holiday. I reckon that is why so many people keep going back, just so that they can catch up on the things that they missed on their last holiday.
Disney world is definitely worth a visit, but a word to the wise: Disneyland (in California) is not…not that you were considering it…

OK, whats the dif? And will the real Disney world please stand up.
Well, aside from one being in Florida and the other in California, World is the original, it’s a massive park with something for everyone, it’s almost a combination of multiple theme parks, featuring the magic world (think of traditional Disney characters, mickey mouse, etc) to Epcot (which is more cultural and futuristic) to another one I can’t remember the name of that is like being on a movie set.
By contrast, Disney land is MUCH smaller and doesn’t offer much more than a standard theme park (like six flags…not sure if you guys have those)
