Although there are some who say that playing the stock market is no better than gambling I would have to disagree. Yes, it’s not for the feint hearted and if you haven’t got money to spare I wouldn’t venture into buying shares, but us long as you do the right research and follow certain procedures you can make a lot of money. Sure you can lose some as well but done properly your successful trades should far out weigh your losses. Not to mention the fact that you can use those losses to minimize your tax bill for those shares that do really well for you.

If you’re just thinking of investing in the stock market there are certain pitfalls you should be wary of so that you’re able to minimize your losses and maximize your profits. I’ve been trading on the stock market for several years and I’ve made my fair share of mistakes, mistakes I wouldn’t have made if only someone had taken the time to share their knowledge with me.

I decided to write a post outlining 10 Tips On How Not To Lose Money In The Stock Market. Let me tell you, prior knowledge of what I am about to share with you would have saved me thousands of dollars. Not only that, I would have been able to free up cash that was tied up in dead stock thereby increasing the potential to make more money.

The post is a little more than just stock investing basics as it gives real life situations as well as  links to resources that explain with greater details important investing tactics covered within the post itself. If you’re thinking of entering the stock market game by buying and selling shares on the stock exchange, and you don’t want to make the same mistakes that I and countless others have made then you may want to check out that post.

So, What Is The Savings At A Wholesale Auction?

I reckon that most people out there would realize that if you can buy something at wholesale you are going to make a whole lot of savings. The reason for this is obvious as buying at wholesale means that you are cutting out the middle man as normally an outlet would buy at wholesale, add their margin and then offer the same product to you at retail. Therefore buying at wholesale removes the margin saving you a whole heap of cash.

Now imagine if you could find a site offering wholesale auctions, would that mean an even greater saving? I know that you can make great savings at a normal auction, depending on how desirable any given item is and how many people are bidding for it, but I’m not sure about a wholesale action. I reckon that’s something I will have to look into.

The Proper Sales Training Essential To Customer Satisfaction

Many years ago when I was a salesman I learned that people who came into my store, whichever one I was working is at that particular time, because they were looking for something to buy. It was my job to help them to find what they were looking for.

Many salesmen fail to make the sale because they lack the proper sales training. I’ve seen so many of them approach a prospective customer with the old, ‘Can I help you’ line which gives the customer the perfect out, ‘No thanks, I’m just looking’. Then I also see the high pressure jerks who may make a sale but alienate the customer from the store, and in actual fact some customers have returned the product because they had purchased more than they intended. Yep, the proper sales training would go a long way in supplying customers the service that they crave from outlets.
