There has been a lot of controversy over ephedra supplements causing it to be banned by the FDA in 2004. The supplement industry thought that they were extremely hard done by and they felt that there was nothing at all wrong with the ephedra product.

They are constantly trying to reformulate the product so that it will conform with the FDA’s Good Manufacturing Practices Policies. If they succeed then we will see another weight loss product on the market. Hopefully people will not rely on any one product alone, but will instead seek a change in lifestyle incorporating a healthy diet and exercise regime.
