WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg Review

Even though Guttenberg has been around for a while, I thought I would still do a WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg review. I know that a few bloggers out there may still be struggling with the new editor so I did a video to help these poor souls out.

If you liked my Writing A Post With WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg why not give it a thumbs up. If you haven’t subscribed yet why not subscribe to my Bonzer Channel? 👍

OK, now that I have that out of the way on to my WordPress 5.0 Guttenberg review.

WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg Review Good Or Bad

WordPress 5.0 Gutenberg Review

I have to admit when I first started using the new Gutenberg editor, I wasn’t at all impressed. In actual fact, I hated it so much that I had to revert to the old editor to write a post.

After persevering with it for some time I’m starting to get used to it. In fact, the more I use it, the more it grows on me. Obviously, it needs some improvements, like being able to highlight certain words by making it a different colour, or even changing the colour of a heading, but rumours are that these and other improvements are on the way.

I found that inserting an image into a post was particularly difficult. But that’s only because I had no idea what I was doing. Now that I know it’s an absolute breeze. My video show how easy it is to insert an image using the Gutenberg editor.

Another thing I was having problems with was the ‘more’ tag. While it was simpler using the old style editor, it’s still pretty simple using the new WordPress 5.0 editor. Once again see the video if you’re having problems using the ‘more’ tag.
