I came across this news feed today and I must say I wasn’t too surprised at the results when this scientist decided to see if you could teach the brain to control pain. I reckon though it’s more like you are teaching it to ignore pain, and seeing how everyone knows that the brain can learn so many things it’s interesting to see how this is done.

Now though this guy uses hi-tech machinery to direct his patients, I wonder if you can do it without them and just use your mind alone?
