Did you know that you can buy your lottery tickets online? Better than that did you know that you can buy a lottery ticket from outside the country you’re now living in? I bet you didn’t. Well, you can!

As an Aussie I can’t tell you the times I’ve listened to the news about some huge jackpot that’s happening somewhere else in the world. Like the US PowerBall that was drawn a few weeks back. You know the one, where the prize pool was worth over $600 million. From memory an elderly woman won the whole lot.

Or the EuroMillions that was drawn a few days back. That one was worth 185 million Euros! Man there was a time when I used to wish I could buy one of those tickets and had a chance at winning the big one. Well, that dream is now a reality because I’ve now worked out how to do it. It all started off with being able to buy lottery tickets in any of the Australian lotteries and then progressed to being able to buy a ticket in any of the world’s major lotteries.

It then came to me that I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know you could get your lottery tickets online. So I put together a site that listed all the sites that I used to get my lottery tickets online. That site is called Get Online Lottery.

You should check it out. It lists several sites that allow you to buy your lottery tickets online. I’m a member of all of them so I have tried, tested and am happy that they are completely legitimate.

A Good Online Memorial Site

No-one wants to lose a loved one, but unfortunately sooner or later it happens to all of us. It happened to my family only a couple of weeks ago and as those who have gone through it will tell you, it is a very traumatic time for all. Everyone has their own way to deal with it. I personally wanted to do a tribute to my lovely sister-in-law.

It had to be a personal tribute and one that would last for a very long time and be available for all friends and family to see. I decided the best way to do it was to place a memorial online and so I started to research it using, you guessed it Google.

I can honestly say that none of the ones I came across really appealed to me. The free ones were pretty tacky, most being full of adverts. You can’t blame them either because they have to be able to pay for all their expenses somehow. The paid memorial sites were mainly automated and lacking in design. Being automated they all looked pretty generic as well.

When I couldn’t find anything that I liked I decided there was only one thing for me to do and that was to design my own! I thought about it a lot and looked through all the available domains and settled on alovingmemorial.com. To me A Loving Memorial is the ideal name for such a site because that is exactly what it is, a memorial to our lost loved ones.

A lot went into the blog design, making sure I picked the right colour and images to portray a peaceful and serene setting. The first memorial was a living tribute to Josie Zollo my a very special lady and proudly my sister-on-law.

I believe that giving the site a personal touch rather than having an automated one will be seen as favourable to anyone wanting to leave an online memorial tribute to a lost loved one.

I’ve always said that there are many ways of making money on the Internet, and one of the ways I have touched on before is doing paid posts. Naturally before you decide to go this route you have to remember that Google frowns upon people who do paid posts and if they find out they will remove all your PR. If your not concerned about PR, then you should definitely consider some of the many companies that will act as the go between you and the advertisers.

To help you decide which companies to join you may want to read this post on a comparison of Blog Firms. Personally I would put PayU2Blog above PayPerPost which I believe belongs closer to the bottom, but like I said, that’s my personal opinion.
