More Blogging Tips For the Serious Blogger

If you are like me and want to be a successful paid blogger, then I would say the biggest hurdle you will come across is trying to work out what the hell you’re going to write about!. This is greatly compounded by the fact that paid to blog sites require one or two unpaid posts between each paid post. I would suggest that rather than posting sheer garbage just to be able to do a paid post that you should go without as it is important to maintain a good quality blog.

There are several places that I go to in order to gain some ideas to blog about. I hope they may also provide you with some inspiration.

  • Technorati.com: Check to see what’s hot at the moment and see if you can put your own spin on it.
  • myLot: While you can make some money from mylot I love it as you can get lots of ideas from some of the discussions. Most mylotters, though they give poor content, come up with good topics.
  • SlashMySearch: Not only can you earn money from using this search engine, the home page is full of topics you can blog about. You can browse categories such as Top Stories, Tech Latest to Bio tech News.
  • Local News Paper: There is always something that is happening locally that those in other parts of the world may find interesting.
  • Review Other Bloggers: This is becoming one of my favourites as apart from giving you something to write about, if you swap reviews you also increase your ranking.
  • Opinion: Although it may sometime promote conflict it can be quite interesting to state your opinion on some hot topics that are floating around.
  • Promote An Affiliate: Its always good to promote one of your affiliates and if you have already done that, then how about an honest update to let people know how you are tracking.
  • Checkmystats and
    clixGalore
are two great affiliates that have thousands of members you could promote. Just pick a member you like and believe in and write a post on it.

I hope you find some of this of use. Perhaps you could add some of your own ideas.
